Sarah's Key

Last night I finished our book club selection Sarah's Key. At first I wasn't sure I wanted to read it, it was so sad how the Jews in Paris were rounded up by French police and sent to Auschwitz. It does tear out your heart in the beginning, it also shows a connection between Sarah and an American woman. I recommend it.

  2. I love reading books from that period in history - they're always sad, yet themes of incredible strength and humanity shine through. Thanks for visiting my blog, Erin's book is on my list of must-reads:).

I loved that book. I just read "The Handmaid's Tale." It was written in the 80's (Margaret Atwood), but I hadn't read it.
I enjoyed it, even though it gave me "chills."
