They say 'imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."
Last friday, at the Wonder of Christmas Nativity display, I saw this and knew I had to copy it. (I don't have a good imagination, but I can copy.)
I knew I had the manger scene for my Silhouette Cameo.
Thursday I looked at my small thrift store and found an appropriate frame (a God thing???).
After dinner I set up my Cameo and cut the scene out.
Here's my take, what do you think?
The frame isn't as nice, but what do you expect for .25?
To be honest, it was a real pain in the patootie to peel and glue on those tiny letters.
The picture is 5 X 7 and the still seek is very thin.
What's nice is that I could use the manger scene on a card (and I do have the word stamp) or I can enlarge it to make a larger picture.
The weekend is here.................what will it bring????
Snow is predicted for our area.
You did a wonderful job on your manger scene and the frame you found suits it perfectly, I think.
ReplyDelete:) I think all of us bloggers are "copy cats." Most of us love our homes and homemaking. I know that I look around for cute idea's. To be truthful here...I like yours a lot more than the original!
ReplyDeleteI like the scene better and I like the frame better. That's my verdict! YOU WIN! :):)

Excellent job! I like the frame you found. If you cut another, please cut one for me. I would be happy to putty with the little letters. It would be so worth it!
