I am leaving on a bus trip to Washington DC!!!
Today I realized it's close.....next week........10 days away.........
Preparations have begun. I got my hair cut last Friday, not too short, just a trim. A trip meeting was held last week so I have the itinerary in hand. My tote (AKA large purse) and small cross body bag have been ready and waiting in the bedroom corner for months. I wore my maxi dress to church yesterday and loved it.........bff said it looked OK (I'm sure she would have told me if I looked like a total dork)....should I take it to DC??? I only wear dresses to church or a holiday event. Had a massage this afternoon with a new girl.....my neck feels better, but it will be back to tighter than tight in no time.
I love DC in the autumn...such a wonderful trip! Dresses are great for anything...they are comfortable and cool if the weather is hot. I wore a skirt to run errands yesterday. If you feel good in the dress, take it!
ReplyDeleteI've never been to DC but I would love to go there. I love maxi dresses too. If you love it then you should take it. (I can't wear them because I am soooo short that I look silly)
ReplyDeleteDo you know that I have never been to DC? I've heard it can be hot and humid in August, but I don't know about September. I would take the maxi. Have fun.
