In Love

I LOVE my home grown tomatoes. Usually I have 3 plants........last year I had more but this year it's just 3. I have to plant them in pots and it works pretty darn good for me. They are barely keeping up with my appetite....yesterday I had to buy one *sad face*.
This is my first tomato I picked, just a normal one. It tasted so good on my BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato) sandwich.

This is a new variety I am trying. I've eaten 1/2 of one so far....delicious.

You can see that I left it on the vine too long....I have to stop waiting for the top to get doesn't.

This is the tag.

Random shot of some wasps (?) stuck in the hood of my car. The blobs are rain drops.

 Have a great weekend everyone!!!!

  1. Linda, I love the taste of good ole' home grown tomatoes. Your look very nice. Those wasps are probably eating dead bug residue ...those actually look like yellow jackets....very aggressive. Enjoy your little bucket farm. :):) I know lots of people who grow things like that. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  2. Hahaha!! I 'accidently' planted one like that and I never ate a single one because I thought something was WRONG with them!!! Silly US!!!

  3. YUM! Our tomatoes are dwindling to just a few left! When they were plentiful, we had a huge plate every night for dinner:) I will miss them when they are gone! We planted some of the black "cherry tomatoes", they look a little weird but taste good:) Have a blessed day dear friend! HUGS!
