At the consignment shop I found some new Birkenstocks and a pretty, colorful bangle bracelet for summer. I found a credit slip in my wallet from Goodwill (that I had forgotten about) so I stopped there....only spent $4 on a picture frame and storage 'thingie' for the bathroom. And I still have $7 in credit left. :-) I still owe one of my grandsons a BD gift so I stopped at Walmart. I decided upon a bike but wasn't sure of the size, so I'll get that later (now that I figured that out). While I was there I got hubby some new socks and me new undies (stuff we needed was on sale-so I had to get it).
Moral of story: don't shop when you are bored, you never know what you will find....it's cheaper to stay home and take a nap.
When I left the last store the sirens were going off, there was a bad thunderstorm in the area. As I drove through town the wind really picked up and it looked like a dust storm. It rained a very little. On the way home I saw these very interesting clouds over Lake Michigan, don't think I've ever seen these before.

Moral of this story: don't take your camera out of your purse.
LOL...I'll have to remember not to shop when I'm bored!

That's what I saw too! Wasn't it cool?
ReplyDeleteWhoa, impressive clouds. Your post got me wondering what emotional need my constant thrifting serves.
ReplyDeleteI'm notorious for shopping when bored. I actually did it today ands spent entirely too much money!!! Great pictures you captured of the clouds. It is a bit spooky yet beautiful.
